Rubber Cement

Rubber cement, it's not just for holding stuff together! To create this really cool background look I drizzled rubber cement over glossy white paper, let it dry and used a brayer to cover the paper with black ink. Then I used a paper towel to wipe the excess ink off of the rubber cement, then wipe off the rubber cement and voila, a really cool looking background!
