Sale-a-bration Class

Woo Hoo! I finally figured out how to get a photo off of my camera and upload it right side up! Yes, it's the small things that bring me joy :) Anyway, here are two of the four cards for my Sale-a-bration class this Wednesday. I had planned on making four samples tonight, but my wonderful hubby commandeered me for a spontaneous date night. What a guy! So the other two samples will be whipped up and posted tomorrow. They will feature the Forrest Friends and So Many Thanks sets. All four cards are made using sets which are FREE with a $50 order now through March 31st. So many great ideas and so little time! Ok, my stamping time out from date night is up, have a great evening!

Elmo!!

What better birthday card for a one year old than Elmo? I was inspired by this card to try my own Elmo card. It's a very easy card to put together. Using the large scallop circle die for the Big Shot, I folded a piece of real red paper and put the fold just under one side of the circle to make the card base. To make the eyes, use the 1 3/8" circle punch and going gray cardstock, 1 1/4" circle punch and whisper white cardstock, and the 1/2" circle punch and basic black cardstock. The nose is punched out of more mustard using the 1 3/4" circle punch and popped up with dimensionals. Then I cut a 3 1/2" circle in half to make the mouth. Have a great day!
