July 29th Class

So my computer and I are not seeing eye to eye this evening....I have tried to upload these pictures 3 times and they keep ending up sideways! If only I had a bit more blogging knowledge :) Anyway, these are two of the four designs for my upcoming class. The top card is made with the new set Butterfly Prints and I may tweak the design a bit for class, though the basic layout and colors will stay the same. I'm loving the new embossing folder, Elegant Lines, shown in the card on the bottom. It's such a great design for a wedding card. Speaking of wedding, I am currently working on my invites and will post the design here once it's finalized! Only two more months to go, yikes!!

Next Class

These are the cards for my next class on Wednesday, July 14th. I love the new embossing folder, Vintage Wallpaper. There are so many new vintage options available in the new catalog, which is AWESOME by the way!! If you don't have you copy yet, what are you waiting for?!

Greetings Galore Class

These are the four cards my ladies will make tomorrow at my Greetings Galore class. All the materials will be provided and they can customize each card with any greeting they like. I used the Level 2 hostess set Asian Artistry, Close as a Memory, Tropical Party, Circle Circus, Heard From the Heart and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamps sets. Thanks for looking!

All about Mom Class

These are the four projects for my upcoming classes featuring cards and a post-it-note cover designed for Mom. In trying to use up my stash of colors which will retire on July 1st, I have been breaking out of my routine and trying new and fun color combinations. Though I really don't know what to do without Mellow Moss. It's such a great compliment to Perfect Plum.
Oh well, hopefully I will be so in love with the new colors it won't matter :)

Color Renovation

This past week Stampin' Up! announced their Color Renovation. The color families we all know and love are in for a major shake up with the release of the new catalog! Old In Colors are returning, new colors are being added and other colors are being bid a fond farewell. Click here to see the new color collections. Each year five new In Colors will be added, BUT the In Colors will be around for two years!!! How exciting is that?!

Easter Baskets

After making the scallop square rag purse I decided to try my hand at some scallop envelope Easter baskets. Well it was a real learning experience! I cut small squares out of patterned fabric and put batting between the fabric and felt to give the basket support. Batting between layers of felt also gives the handle stability. We filled the baskets with animal crackers, gummy worms, chocolate eggs and a stuffed animal. We did a small treasure hunt with clues from the Easter Bunny and the baskets were the prize at the end! Hope everyone had a great Easter!
